Douglas Dundonald
DIRECTOR
Douglas is a founder and director of UK-based technology commercialisation group Scientific Venture Partners Ltd which has built a portfolio of high potential technology-based companies arising from leading research institutions.
He has been involved in technology companies both as an investor and director for the last 20 years. He is also a former executive main board member of Anglo Pacific Group plc.
When an active member of the House of Lords, he held a position on the council of the Parliamentary Information Technology Committee.
He is the honorary consul for Chile in Scotland.
Fred Edenius
DIRECTOR

Neil Wickers
DIRECTOR
Neil is a successful CEO, leader and advisor with extensive experience in growing consumer goods and services businesses in both the UK and internationally.
Much of his career has been in the health foods sector and he has held senior positions at Unilever, including Senior Vice President for Culinary Foods.
There he grew the heart health brand Flora to be a leading grocery brand and launched the weight management brand Slim. Fast in Europe.
He has also worked in Private Equity backed businesses. As MD for PizzaExpress International, he built a high growth profitable restaurant business, including starting businesses in India and China.

Prof. John Hunter
CLINICAL-CONSULTANT & FOUNDER
Professor Hunter is a Consultant Physician at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, visiting Professor of Medicine at the University of Cranfield and a recognised authority on diseases of the gut including Crohn’s Disease, Colitis and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
He has contributed over 100 research papers to major medical journals including The Lancet, Nature and the British Medical Journal and is the author of several books on gut health.
Professor Hunter has been a consultant to a number of international companies and has been elected a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr Rosemary Waring
SCIENTIFIC CONSULTANT & FOUNDER
Dr Waring is a graduate of Cambridge University and subsequently completed her PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Birmingham where she is now honorary Reader in Human Toxicology. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists.
Dr Waring’s research is focused on the contribution of environmental factors to chronic ill-health and on the interactions of gut flora with gastrointestinal function. The research uses metabonomic and genomic techniques with in-depth analysis.
Dr Waring has published over 230 research papers and has served as an independent toxicologist on European Union (EFSA) and UK Government panels – Advisory Committee on Pesticides and Committee on Carcinogenicity.
Dr. Harry Frydenberg AM
CLINICAL CONSULTANT
Dr Frydenberg AM is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and Director of the Epworth Centre for Bariatric Surgery in Melbourne, Australia.
Dr Frydenberg has more than 30 years’ experience performing a wide range of bariatric surgical procedures.
Dr Frydenberg was involved in the early organisation of Bariatric Surgeons in Australia (OSSANZ/ANZMOSS) and is a Past President and Honorary Life Member of the organisation.
Dr Frydenberg is also a Past President and Life Member of the IFSO (International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders) and the Founding President of the IFSO-Asia Pacific Chapter.
Dr Nigel Davies
PRODUCTION CONSULTANT
Nigel is Director of Technical and Sustainability at Muntons plc, a UK based malting company and the largest producer of malted ingredients in the world.
An experienced Board level Director responsible for setting strategy and coaching, challenging and motivating a large team spanning Technical, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental compliance, Food Safety and Sustainability to achieve strategic goals.
Nigel has specific specialist skills in the global malt supply chain.
